A vitally important bushing often overlooked.  Called everything from a control arm bushing to a compliance bushing by manufacturers it is typically a relatively large rubber bushings with large voided areas.  The soft rubber and the movement encouraged by the open boided areas conspire to allow these bushings to soften, degrade and even tear with time and mileage.
